Protect the next training session

Before buying an upgrade, reserve enough mesos for the recovery, ammunition and travel you normally consume in one session. The right reserve depends on your actual build and route, so this guide uses your measurements instead of inventing a universal amount.

Keep three separate figures: liquid mesos, essential session costs and optional purchases. A valuable unsold drop belongs in a fourth category. Until it sells, it cannot pay for a recovery item. This small distinction prevents a character with “valuable inventory” from being unable to continue training.

New accounts have a launch trading condition

The Grand Launch digest reports a restriction until twenty-four hours after a character reaches level 15 on a new account. If trading is unavailable, check the official release notes and the game’s message before planning a market purchase.

Do not mistake a trading restriction for proof that an item is untradeable or that a market price is zero.

Calculate the whole session

Net mesos equals actual income minus recovery, ammunition, travel and other costs. Divide by total elapsed time, including selling and restocking, to estimate a rate. Include only realized sales in your ordinary baseline.

Worked example, not a market quote: a forty-minute session produces 12,000 mesos of income and costs 5,000. Its net is 7,000, or 10,500 per hour. If an unsold item is listed elsewhere for 20,000, that listing does not turn this into a 40,500-per-hour route.

  • Use an ordinary session, not your luckiest one.
  • Record sales after fees, when applicable.
  • Include consumed items even if you obtained them earlier.
  • Keep rare drops separate so one lucky item cannot hide a losing route.

An inventory decision order

This is a decision method, not an item price database. We do not publish live prices or drop rates without a current, attributable dataset. An item with the same name but different stats may not be a valid price comparison.

Item situationBefore selling
Active quest or donation materialCheck the exact quest requirement and keep the needed quantity.
Unknown ore, catalyst or crafting materialCheck a current recipe or item reference; do not assume every ETC item is junk.
Equipment you can use soonCompare requirements and actual clear improvement with the sale value.
Scroll or unusual equipmentLook for matching item details and completed transactions if available.
Known low-value surplusSell only after checking the other categories and your inventory needs.

Let an upgrade answer a specific problem

Write down what the purchase should change: one fewer cast, fewer misses, a safer route or less recovery. Then compare a session before and after the purchase under similar conditions. If the limiting factor is travel or spawn availability, damage alone may not help.

Set the budget before you browse listings. Compare the cheapest item that solves the problem with the cost of waiting. Avoid spending the reserve on a speculative scroll attempt or buying equipment for a future path you have not chosen.

  • Do not confuse a high listing with an established selling price.
  • Avoid promising a resale profit before a buyer exists.
  • Price materials and fees when evaluating crafting.
  • Treat a failed experiment as information; do not double the budget automatically.

Crafting and donations have opportunity costs

Materials you gathered yourself still have alternative uses. When comparing a craft with buying an item, include all required inputs and the time you choose to spend gathering them. For a donation, compare the immediate cost with the town progression you value.

The budget tool below is deliberately simple. It calculates from the figures you enter, stays on your device and makes no claims about a live Free Market. If a result is negative, adjust the route or spending before relying on a rare drop to rescue the plan.

Make the session sustainable

Example values, not live prices. Include only income you actually received.

7,000net mesos this session
10,500net mesos per hour

Net = income − costs. Hourly = net × 60 ÷ total minutes. Unsold listings are not income.
