Who this build is for
Pick Warrior if you enjoy grouping nearby enemies and keeping a short, repeatable melee route. This guide favors a first character with a modest potion budget. A slower map with compact platforms can be better for you than a famous map where every monster is a long walk away.
Your first goal is a repeatable kill pattern. Watch how often a monster survives your main attack with a sliver of HP. Before buying an expensive upgrade, ask whether it actually removes one attack from that pattern. A higher character-sheet number that leaves the same number of swings may do very little for your session.
AP: start with the weapon you can equip
STR is the Warrior branch’s main stat. At level 10, visit Dances with Balrog in Perion. The level-30 branch choices are Fighter, Page and Spearman.
- Write down the level and stat requirements of your next affordable weapon before allocating points.
- Compare the requirement with your character after removing temporary buffs. Do not count an equipment bonus twice.
- If you miss often, test an equal-level or weaker monster before adding permanent off-stat points. Change one variable at a time.
- Keep a potion reserve when comparing weapons. Spending your entire balance can shorten your next training session.

SP priorities, with the unlocks visible
| Priority | Action | Decision to make |
|---|---|---|
| Open the attack | Power Strike 1 → unlock Slash Blast | Begin with a usable attack, then test single targets versus groups. |
| Choose your loop | Develop Power Strike OR Slash Blast first | Single isolated targets favor single-target investment; compact groups reward a group attack. |
| Improve consistency | Evaluate Precise Strikes | Use observed misses and uneven clears to decide its urgency. |
| Build durability | Improved HP Recovery 3 → Max HP Increase | Compare the next rank with your actual potion use. |
| Optional defense | Max HP Increase 3 → Iron Body | Choose defense when contact damage is interrupting your route. |

A useful ten-minute Warrior test
Choose two adjacent maps you can already survive. Start with the same potion supply and buffs. Spend ten minutes on each, including time walking to new spawns and looting. Record EXP gained, potion costs and deaths in the leveling tool. Do not cherry-pick your best minute.
For the group route, gather only as many enemies as you can handle without panic healing. For the single-target route, avoid chasing survivors across the map. If grouping costs more time than the extra targets save, favor the simpler route until your damage improves.
- Solo: prioritize a stable route and a predictable resupply point.
- KPQ: stay with the group, collect passes, and tell the leader if a target is hard to hit.
- Low funds: keep your current weapon if a replacement does not improve a measured clear.
Before choosing your second job
At level 30, return to your instructor and follow the advancement quest. Choose your branch around the weapon type and party role you want to continue using, not an endgame promise from a different version. Third jobs were absent from the launch scope.
- Compare the skills shown in the live advancement dialog.
- Resolve first-job points in the skill window before confirming.
- Keep enough consumables for the test and a return journey.
- Record your old EXP and potion baseline so you can measure the new skills.

AP allocation: a practical next-level plan
Use STR as your main stat and check the requirements on an affordable Warrior weapon. DEX is a common secondary-stat constraint, not a universal fixed ratio. Check every requirement on the actual item before spending.
The five-point example below is arithmetic, not a claim that a particular item has these requirements. Count only equipment bonuses you will still have after changing gear; do not depend on a temporary buff without checking the live equip rules.
| Situation | Example allocation | Decision |
|---|---|---|
| Requirements already met | 5 STR | If the next usable item’s requirements are met, put the example level’s points into the main stat. |
| Example: 2 DEX short | 2 DEX + 3 STR | Cover the verified shortfall first, then use the remaining points on your main stat. |
| More than 5 points short | Up to 5 DEX, 0 STR in this example | Recheck the item and budget; bridge the remainder over later levels or keep your current gear. |
| Frequent misses | Recheck accuracy before committing permanent points | Test weaker targets and gear options; an equipment requirement is not the only concern. |

SP allocation and skill priority
Follow these priorities in order as the relevant skills unlock. A suggested first point is conditional on having an available point in the correct job pool and meeting the current client’s prerequisites; it does not mean every skill is immediately unlocked.
The order is an editorial starting plan, not a tested optimal level-by-level build. Check ranks, costs and the live skill window before each permanent allocation.
| Priority | Suggested allocation | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Open the route | Power Strike 1, then Slash Blast 1 when unlocked | Test single targets against compact packs. |
| Main attack | Develop Power Strike or Slash Blast first | Invest in the attack used on your usual map. |
| Survival | Improved HP Recovery 3, then consider Max HP Increase | Check the live prerequisite and recovery interruptions. |

First-week route: early to mid game
These are progression stages, not a promise that every player reaches a given level within one week. Use the first-week and leveling guides for route and session-planning details.
| Stage | What to do | Check before moving on |
|---|---|---|
| Levels 1–10 | Finish the beginner route and travel to your branch instructor. | Check the current advancement requirements in the client. |
| Levels 10–29 | After advancement, practice Power Strike and Slash Blast on enemies you can hit consistently. | Compare nearby fields with mushroom or boar routes and, if eligible, KPQ from level 21. |
| Level 30 decision | Compare compact packs with individual targets; prepare the Fighter, Page or Spearman choice. | Read the second-job guide and recheck the skill prerequisites. |

Gear and spending checkpoints
| Checkpoint | Action | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Weapon | Compare a practical melee weapon with your current weapon and keep a potion reserve. | Choose an obtainable upgrade that matches your actual skills. |
| Requirements | Check all stats, level and usable equipment bonuses on the target item. | A higher listed attack is irrelevant if you cannot equip it. |
| Session budget | Keep recovery and any ammunition or throwing stars for a full run. | Compare session cost and uptime, not an unverified market price. |
